Mision Surf and Mision Mexico

Misión Surf México is a Not-For-Profit hotel, surf school and community outreach centre. Designed as an extension of Misión México, we work to provide education, employment and empowerment opportunities to the impoverished community of Villa del Sol in Chiapas, Mexico.

Misión México; In 2000 Pamela and Alan Skuse left their home in Australia, and in 2001 they opened the doors of ’Misión México, dando Amor, Vida y Esperanza’. Over the years it has been home to over 250 abused, abandoned and orphaned children. Here, the children are cared for by a team of dedicated people, who work to provide a loving, secure family home. Among the enormous daily challenges to stay afloat and knowing that the children, who have suffered terribly, need different outlets to help rebuild their confidence and their general trust in the world, Misión México took to the seas to teach the children water safety, swimming, and of course – surfing! Misión Surf was born out of Misión México's passion for the ocean. It was developed with the aim to showcase our beautiful natural resources and our rich culture. Far from the tourist hustle and bustle, Misión Surf Mexico is a place for you to relax and enjoy the local surf culture while supporting

us on our mission to give love, life and hope.
